MARCO POLO HUNT IN PAMIR

You will experience the Awesome Pamir Mountains (Tajikistan) at the altitude of 4000 - 5000 m a.s.l. (10,500/15,500 ft) near the China border.  At this altitude maximum cardio vascular conditioning is preferred, however each year we do accommodate various age groups with physical limitations. With the use of the 4wd jeeps & known Marco Polo patterns we can provide opportunity for everyone. There are guides, doctors & cooks in camp. Depending on the time of the year, expect 6"-20" of snow.  Temperatures during the hunting season: August /September + 10 - + 20 C (+50 /+80 F), October /November + 15 - 0 C (+5/ +30 F), December + 25 - - 10 C (-15 /+15 F), February /March also + 15 - 0 C (+5/ +30F). Late November - December snow bring Rams lower for the rut & better food source. Often times it is possible to see 50 /500 sheep per day. Hunting methods vary to the client's capability.  In the morning each client hunting 1x1 with his guide & driver leaves base camp by jeep. Generally within 30 minutes of camp Sheep can be spotted.  Professional guides can say how big the Ram is from a far distance. Once Rams are located, spotting scopes determine trophy caliper.  If a Ram is located that is a worthy trophy, a stalk is planned on foot according to the clients capabilities. You have to be prepared & comfortable with 300/500 yard shots. From Osh city (Kirgizia), you will be transferred to camp by jeeps (about 8-10 hours).  Helicopters are not recommended, extreme weather conditions crossing the Mtn ranges & it is preferred to acclimatize slowly via vehicles to prevent severe altitude sickness that could occur. Trophy size vary from (52 in.- 65 in.). The largest from this area was 72".  The #1 & #2 Marco Polo in the world was taken from this camp. When you finish hunting Marco Polo we encourage you to take advantage of the World Class Ibex hunting as well.  An excellent bonus trophy. There are a lot of wolves in the area as well.

Cabins, tents, generators, better meals with superior nutrition over a wet pup tent & freeze dried food. Single specie & multi-specie combos are higher % of success. This game rich area can be accessed from Anchorage or Moscow. Awesome values of tourist shopping in Petro of carvings, & unique gifts. A second Bear can be added in some cases. 100% of all the Brown Bears taken have a perfect hide with no rub marks. 85% of all Bears taken in North America are rubbed. Many more bear sightings, better accommodations, better hair (No rubs). Spring Hunting in early May allows covering many miles per day via snowmobile. A 9" track in the snow equals a 10Ft Bear & worth following in the fresh snow. Large mature boars are most active this time of the year, they have just emerged from their dens & are very hungry. One of their favorite meals this time of the year are the new born cubs. Combine that with the fact that this is the mating time of the year & Mature Boars are on the prowl all day long. These same Bears are very nocturnal in the fall, most of the time they do not show up at the Salmon streams until after shooting light has passed. Every year, the largest boars are taken in the Spring. Fall bear is a great combination Trophy to combine with Kamchatka Snow Sheep in Late Aug or Sept or with Moose in Late Set or Oct. Best bears with the best coats of long hair taken in May every year; Snowmobiles allow 40-60 miles of travel per day!! Beats walking!! Large Bears tend to be nocturnal in the fall. BEAR IN THE DEN HUNT

Bear "In The Den" hunt is conducted in winter. It is very old traditional Russial stile hunt. Local guides exactly know the place where the den is. They locate dens far in advance, in late fall, when bear just gets in there. Usually guides know how big the bear is. Bear tracks tell them much about it. It isn't difficult to get to the den area. At first hunters drive there, then go with snow mobile (be prepared for long rides in sled), final 500 -800 m are made on foot. When hunters get close to the den the guides send a dog towards it. It is a climax of the hunt - lots of noise, dogs barking, bear roaring, fighting with dogs. At that second bear gets at the hunter's sight. Shot. Sometimes two bears can be found in one den and a hunter has to be prepared. Though the hunt is not dangerous, hunter is always secured by the EXPERIENCED GUIDE at the back, with loaded gun. It makes everything quite safe. On this hunt you will be fascinated by gorgeous beauty of winter forest covered with snow, drive snow mobile just for fun. Air temperature at this time is -10 - -15 C (+5 - +15 F). If your hunt is over till January 15, you can hunt moose and wild boars as well. FISHING ADVENTURE TOUR FOR SIBERIAN TAIMEN

The Siberian Taimen belongs to the Salmon Family who always stay in fresh water as opposed to Real Salmon inhabits in salt water and comes to the rivers for spawning. We do this trip on very wild and remoted area on the river Gonam in South Yakutia. It is not easy at our time to find the area there were not so many people before you there. Our area is such place. Gonam is tributary of Uchur, Uchur is tributary of Aldan, Aldan is tributary of Lena - one of the biggest river of Central Siberia. Our fishing area is located at 550 km to the East from Neryungry city. There are 6 times zones between Moscow and Neryungry (+6 hrs with Moscow time). No any other people except our clients can reach this area because of no roads and no possibility to get there by usual motor boats. The reason is long distances and many rapids on the river. We use aerostatic crafts to get the place and for fishing. Maximum speed of the craft is 35 km/hr. It can go on any deep of the water, easy go through rapids. Each of our crafts has satellite phone on board and have constant connection with other crafts and city. There is also JPS on each board. In winter time we bring fuel by big trucks and leave it in tanks along the river bank so we have our own fuel stations in fishing area on summer season. There are lots of fish in our fishing area: Lenok (2-5 kg), Northern Pike (5-15 kg), Greyling (up to 1,5 kg) and of course the king of Siberian rivers - TAIMEN (5-25 kg). For experiences angler is not a problem to get the trophy 20-30 kg. The record of this river is Taimen 38 kg weight. That was caught by our main fishing guide Vladimir Mikheev. Taimen fishing principle is CATCH & RELEASE. All other fish we can take for cooking as much as we want. Every day we enjoy fresh fish dishes cooked on bonfire. The width of the river is from 50 to 300 m and there are many rapids, sandbars, saults, deep holes, backward waters, many small fresh streams fall following into the main river - favorite places of big taimen. You can use spinning and fly fishing both. The area were we fish is realy very wild, you can meet there different animals on the river banks - Moose, Bear, Rein Deer, Wolf, Musk Deer and others. Anglers can fish from the river bank and from aerostatic crafts. There are total 4 aerostatic crafts for clients. 1 KHIVUS-10 - for 3 anglers. 2 KHIVUS-6 - for 2 anglers each. And one KHIVUS-TRUCK to bring heavy things like fuel e.c. So total normal group size can be 7-8 anglers. This trip is for those people who want to merge with wild nature with doingall things themselves - camping, cooking, doing everything together. We don't provide a cook on this trip because each craft has limited space and weight. We do cooking together, every morning and evening we have hot meal cooked on open fire on river bank. Lunch we have on the river with sandviches, hot tea or coffee. We take with us all necessary food in the market just before the trip. We can have hot shower in hunting houses 2-3 times a week.
